Receive a 50% refund (minus service fee) up until 2 weeks prior to check-in.
Living area:
The living area comprises an open plan kitchen with breakfast bar, dining table and lounge area. You can open up the doors to take in the beautiful view and watch the birdlife while sipping your morning cuppa.
There is a slow combustion fireplace, (a small allocation of firewood is provided) split system air conditioning / heating in the living room. A small lounge area with coffee table and TV, Playstation -PS2 - some games, Board games and puzzles
Bedrooms:
The master bedroom with queen bed, has its own modern ensuite bathroom, a reading nook with a lounge chair and ottoman and floor to ceiling windows with a stunning view across the valley.
The double and queen bedrooms all have storage and large windows. Please note, the wall between the master and the adjacent bedroom is not very sound proof. BYO ear plugs.
There is a covered outdoor entertaining area complete with kitchenette, wood heater, espresso machine (byo ground coffeee) and Weber BBQ. There is a fire pit on the lawn and outdoor chairs. (BYO wood). Please note the fire pit is not available in summer as the house is in a high fire danger zone.
Guests will have access to the whole house apart from a few locked cupboards. There are several sheds on the property which will be locked.
The house is surrounded by state forest with endless opportunities for bushwalking, motorbike riding, and 4WD’ing. The pristine Goulburn River is a 5-minute walk from the house where you can have a refreshing dip in summer or try to catch an elusive trout.

You must have a 4WD or AWD to access the property between June to September inclusive. Or if its unseasonably wet
There are two access points to the property. The front entrance is very steep and is only accessible by 4WD vehicles. The rear access road is a steep unsealed track. This track becomes slippery and muddy in winter and during heavy rains, which means only 4WD and AWD vehicles should travel along this road. You will be provided with directions to the property and access codes prior to check-in. Please advise at the time of booking what type of vehicle you intend to travel in so that we can provide clear instructions.
There is limited WIFI at the property (no streaming please) and mobile phone reception only works on the Telstra network.
Bring all your own food and drink supplies, the last stop to purchase is in Mansfield. There are some basic supplies at the Jamieson General Store and a very limited supply of wine at the Courthouse Hotel in Jamieson.
CHILDREN
**Though we accept children, parents must supervise at all times due to the layout of the terrace and sheds on the property.**
PETS
*** You may bring ONE dog per booking - note the house is not fenced and dogs must not be allowed into the bedrooms and left unattended while you are out ***
SECURITY CAMERAS
There are security cameras on the driveway and on the large shed. None of which face any private areas.

Due to the high fire risk, the fire-pit is not available in summer. BYO firewood.
COST TO USE ADDITIONAL BEDS
We charge per bed, so if you are a couple who use an additional bed an extra $50 / night will be charged. This covers the extra cost to launder linen and time to make up the extra room.
